Open House Period - The Arizona Region has established an Open House Period for players and their parents to visit different clubs in an attempt to decide which club to tryout and join for the 2023-24 season. The Open House Period is a 10-day period prior to the specific age group Tryouts.

During the Open House Period a club may offer a maximum of 3 Open House sessions for each age group that is not more than 2 hours in length. The club MAY evaluate potential club members by running them through skills tests and physical tests, MAY talk to the players and their parents about their club and MAY let you know about what level you might fit into in their club.

Age Eligibility
Determining the age group that a player falls into can be confusing since the age group is determined by their age as of July 1 but the season is not officially over until Aug 31. Please verify your daughter's age group by clicking on this link: https://www.azregionvolleyball.org/agedefinitions and using the Arizona region's birthday calculator. TRYOUTS STEP BY STEP
A) Register with Arizona Region
Join / Register with the Arizona Region of USA Volleyball. Follow the link for instructions on how to do so:

B) Register for Athletes Only Tryouts

C) AZ Region & USAV Forms
Complete all three forms and make three copies of each. All forms will need to be turned in on tryout day at check-in. Thank you in advance for coming prepared with all the forms in hand and completed, here are the forms with links for your convenience.

D) Birth Certificate
Please bring with you three copies of your athlete's birth certificate or passport. Both are acceptable for USAV and the AZ region's records.
DAY OF TRYOUTS
On the day of tryouts, please bring with you all the forms outlined above and the corresponding three copies. After the volleyball concludes at tryouts, a parent needs to be present for the uniform fitting, paperwork signing, and first payment installment. We will accept credit card, Zelle, or check.
